I am a girl who is an artist is aiming to be a kawaii magical girl~ hehe♡
I made this blog because I've become inspired by so many people on the internet! I think it's about time I jump on the band wagon! I will be using this blog to post daily style posts, little reviews on cute shops and goods, wardrobe and music collections, and much more~ I might even most my art or link it to this blog~! There's going to be so much in store, so I hope you will keep up with me on my blogging journey, it is only the beginning. I live in a very small town on the East coast of the U.S. There's nothing to do here, so music, art, and fashion has become my life. I'm not completely sure what I want to do with my life. Something to do with the things listed above♡ I hope to open a little online shop sometime in the near future.
Planning to travel to Japan next year in the late summer♡ Dream come true♡
Music
Really, ask any of my friends, I'm HUGE on music, specifically J-rock. I've been into the J-rock fandom for over four years now, and I'm loving every day of it. I'm heavily biased and I have oh so many biases...
the GazettE was my first J-rock band and is my favorite since the first time I laid eyes and ears on them, hehe♡ I'm not a HERESY member (yet) but I do support them every way I can. I buy the music, DVDs, and some merch. I'm quite proud of the small collection of Black Moral merch I own, though it's not very much ;_; And I have a second favorite band~ Mejibray! I don't have any other definite favorites because there are so many talented J-rock bands, oh my goodness. But yes, I've only known Mejibray for about a year now? I've been so obsessed with them and I sort of listen to them more so than the GazettE when the GazettE doesn't release anything for awhile (like right at the moment hehe.. shhh..).
Art
I've always loved art since I was a little girl! I've only really progressed in my skill throughout high school because the art classes offered in lower grades weren't very helpful, to say in the least. Typically, I only do fanart when I'm at home. When I used to take art in school, I would do a huge variety of things. So I'd say I'm quite skilled now in multiple fields. I think my favorite types of work to do are pencil drawings, acrylic paintings, watercolor pencil pieces, and digital work. I picked up digital painting last year and it's really grown on me. I don't know what I'd do with myself if it wasn't for art, to be honest.
Fashion
When I was young, I wanted to be a fashion designer at some point. But that changed not too long after that.
However, after being brought into the J-rock loop, and the culture that follows, I've fallen in love with fashion all over again. I absolutely love the Visual Kei style. It's so me. I wear black all the time so it really suits my likes and my wardrobe. But sometime along the line, I found Lolita. Lolita is so eye-catching and beautiful. I found my love of pastels after finding such cute Japanese street fashion. I can't explain how wonderful fashion is. I wish to dress cute all the time, yet keep my edgy Visual Kei image somewhere inside me. I don't have the guts to wear what I want all the time, yet. School makes it a little difficult when it comes to me wanting to dress cute. Oh well, I'll be out of school soon so I can dress cute daily~! Being a Visual Kei girl on the inside, or not~!♡
